Sure, I had to go with my bosses and some co-workers but never mind that.
If I ever get around to making that bucket list, I'm going to add that I really want Ronnie and I to go to the Derby some day, just us and some friends. It's always right around his birthday too so that would be an awesome way to celebrate! It's definitely an exciting experience and I think everyone needs to go at least once! The hats, the dresses, the celebrities! It's a little intimidating how much fanciness is everywhere but I didn't care, I just wanted to people watch!
The hats alone making going worthwhile! And when I went in 2010 I saw that girls had started wearing fascinators instead of the big hats which I really liked too. I'm not a fan of hats at all (funny how that works out) but after seeing the Derby for myself, I want to do it up next time with a ginormous hat. The bigger the better I think ;)
