For some reason I fall in/out love with Pinterest a lot, but for the moment, I am back in love! My pinning already has me daydreaming about Fall, which in my world always turns into "I need a completely new wardrobe and look!" and then quickly turns into "I need to make my house super cozy!". Of course none of this matters at the moment since our current south Texas temperatures are at 100+ and will be for a while...but a girl can dream.

I only had my last post up for an hour but I decided to take it down. It's way too depressing for this place!

But a quick recap in case you're as nosy as I am ;) --> Ronnie and I have decided to look for a home for our cat and then my parents will be taking our dog Frasier. Niles will of course stay with us since he's recovering from his back surgery. We just have a LOT going on and we have our reasons. It's a difficult decision because our pets were our first babies but it's what is best for our family and because our main priority is now our daughter. Y'all know I'm an open book so if you want to know more, just ask and we'll chat ;)

So let's get this place happy again...Funny pins, yo!

A New Look + Pinterest

In the past few weeks I'd been completely obsessed with getting a new blog design but the prices were just out of the budget. Finally after seeing Brynn re-design her own blog and loving what she did, I e-mailed her and asked if I could be her first paying client! Being the nicest girl around, she refused to take any money since she doesn't "do this for a living" but she was also nervous about dissapointing. After convincing her that there's no way she could dissapoint, she took on my design!

So take a look - do you think she dissapointed? Not even close! I love everything about it! If you didn't already know, I love all things colorful (of course - I named my daughter Violet! ha) and I wanted my blog to reflect that and just how much fun I'm having with my little family. Brynn did EXACTLY what I asked for...and she did it all just for fun because she's one of the biggest sweethearts around. I SO hope she'll start designing blogs at some point because as you can see, she's really good at it. So go on over and tell Brynn how awesome she is and if you don't already follow her, do it! She tells the funniest stories!! Thanks again, Brynn!

And since I'm talking about new looks, there's TONS that I've been wanting to do around the house but I haven't had the time (or energy, to be quite honest). We bought the house last November and since then, the only rooms that have been completed are the living room and Violet's room. So these are some of the DIY projects I've found on Pinterest that I want to do and some of the pictures that have inspired me to decorate our casa!

Pinteresting Wednesday

Back in the "early days" of Pinterest, I was absolutely addicted. After a while though I started to feel so bad every time I would log on.

Why am I not that creative?? Why isn't my house that organized??

Why do I wake up with a fro instead of beach waves even when I followed the tutorial to a t!!??

Am I right? Please tell me I'm not the only one who has just for a second hated their life when they log on to Pinterest? I mean how do these people do it?!

But I'm slowly getting over my craziness and jumping back on the Pinterest bandwagon. And one day maybe, just maybe, I'll start attempting all of these pins. (ha!) Here's some of what I've pinned recently!

Oh How Pinteresting: Fall

I pretty much feel like this has been the longest.week.EVER. I can hardly believe it's just Wednesday, y'all! Things have been pretty tough adjusting to our new (VERY temporary) living situation and the heat is not helping me. Nearly every day, I am ready to jump into a pool of ICE! Don't tempt this plus sizer to walk around in a freaking bikini either because I just might do it! It's awful :( Because of this Texas heat it seems that daydreaming about cold weather is all I do lately! And if you follow my random rants on Twitter, you'll know I've even been listening to Christmas music recently. At least then I can close my eyes and make believe it's wonderful outside! :p

So going along with that theme, I've pinned lots of fall stuff lately! I know you're dying for Fall to get here too ;)
