Because I'm an obsessed mom who posts pictures of my child nearly daily on Instagram, I get a lot of comments about the hair. It's so hilarious to me how crazy it's getting but at the same time, it's not a surprise to me since I have curly hair and my brother and sister had major curls when they were babies. So for a fun recap, let's check out the hair from the past week. Insane, I tell you.

Ok so enough baby talk but still kind of sticking to the hair theme because really, these guys have amazing hair. Who here watches Million Dollar Listing New York?? I'm so upset that the season's over but it was such a good finale! Though I'm not buying Fredrik's "sensitive" side, I still love him. I really would've preferred that they just end the season with his wedding though. I may or may not have cried during that episode.

I'm still Team Ryan (he's such a little hottie) and I'm intrigued by this new, little evil side that he's teasing us with for next season. And his purple Vespa!! Love. I'm still unsure how I feel about Luis. I love his enthusiasm but the machismo thing is just too much. The "Boom!" and "I love it!" has gotta go, I've heard enough. I think overall I've just been bored with summer TV. I need at least a few shows per week to keep me happy and with that show ending, all I have now is Dexter! I'm just excited that Million Dollar Listing LA is coming soon and Breaking Bad, too!! AAGH! What are you watching?? Give me ideas!

Tuesday Thoughts?

Not quite the same as Thursday Thoughts but it works. Besides, what day don't I have random thoughts?

--I don't get the Valentine's Day hype, never have. Am I alone? Ronnie and I started dating about 2 weeks after Valentine's so we've just focused on celebrating that. Holy crap, 7 years this year!

--But if you're a V-day fan, I think DIY is the way to go! Jamie has TONS of ideas. Lots of cute shit here too.

--Violet's birthday is exactly 2 weeks after Valentine's day. I think I'm going to call her day, V-day.

--Today I'm jamming to 80s country on Pandora. (Ronnie and his dad would be so proud!) Try it and thank me later.

--Next week I'm going to a mini-reunion with friends from 6th grade! So random, right? Private school's at least good for its small classes, forcing everyone to be friends :)

--If you're not watching The Following, start. It's . so . good!

--I will never understand beard haters. I LOVE my manly bearded man and if he didn't have to look somewhat profesh, I'd totally let him grow it out Duck Dynasty style. Or like his beard idol.

--I loved VeryJane.com until my credit card got hacked for the second time! Another friend had the same issue using that site. Be careful!

--My "About Me + Us" page has been updated! It's silly and pretty wordy but whatever, it's us.

--I need some Girl Scout cookies in my life. and soon.

christmas tree weekend

I finally brought out the Christmas decorations on Saturday but we had some major cleaning and organizing to do first. It's insane how quickly our house had turned into a clusterf*** ever since a certain little girl graced us with her presence 9 months ago ;) But I am happy to report that the looney bin is back to normal and the Christmas tree finally made its debut yesterday! V got to put up the first ornament - meaning Ronnie placed it on there and she yanked it back off ;)

I'm so awful with our little point and shoot and have no clue how to take good pictures, let alone pictures of lights!

By the time I started decorating last night, I was just so exhausted. It made me think of how different things were last year when I put up the tree, over 8 months pregnant. No baby to tend to and how immaculate the house already was. It was so easy back then. Luckily, I'm a million times more in love with life now :)

Total #firstworldproblems but I have to show y'all. While cleaning out V's room, I discovered she has THIS MANY Christmas things to wear. We don't even have that many Christmas events to go to! So, girlfriend's gonna wear a new outfit every other day, no matter where we're going. ha

Ready to venture out into the cold just so mom and dad could get some night time Starbucks ;)

Ooh, and I finally caught up on Nashville! Do y'all watch it!? I LOVE Rayna and seriously want to just be her (if it includes that amazing house of hers!) when I grow up ;) Just minus the politician husband. And am I the only one who thinks Juliette is a little biatch?! Gah she irks me. Maybe it's just because I'm not a big fan of Hayden herself. Either way, the ending was really good, it totally surprised me! And that boyfriend of hers is HOTT.

It was a really good, tiring weekend. Too bad all good things must come to an end.
And notice how I didn't post a picture of a completed Christmas tree? Probably because it's not completed. Babies, man. Always wanting attention and stuff ;)

+I am seriously dying to try a Shellac manicure. I keep reading about everyone loving theirs but to get one, that would require me to stop biting my nails. I was doing so well but work has me all stressed out and I bite them without even realizing it. G-ross.

+On that note, I found out some more not-so-great news at work. It's nothing that's affecting the existence of my job, just the existence of my sanity is all.

+I'm all kinds of sad this week without my Parks and Rec, Modern Family, Happy Endings and Big Bang Theory. I might wither away and die this summer :(

+Making me happy though is all of you new wonderful followers/friends! I am amazed to have 71 of you following my nonsense and it means SO much to me! Thank you :)

+I love my siblings like you wouldn't know. And I love that my brother e-mailed me last night with a link to this Christmas station on Pandora. He obviously grew up with the same Christmas-obsessed mother that I did.

+Um, has anyone heard the phrase "Cowabunga" used in real life? I didn't think so. But if you hang out with my fiance, you might hear him yell it out as he shoots out of a parking lot onto a traffickey street. That fool makes me laugh like you wouldn't believe but now that stupid word is stuck in my head today.

+Who knew drinking lots of water and eating healthy actually = clear skin? Genius, I tell you! Big shout out to Mio for making all of that water drinking bearable possible!

+Did you know I'm obsessed with daily deal sites? I won't even tell you how many I'm signed up for. But I'm always open for more so send me your recommendations or invitations! The only ones I won't do are the sites that have so-called "steals" such as an ottoman that's "50% off the original price of $600". Homie don't play that.

I am loving me some Barefoot Moscato wine. I've loved this for a while but I'm obsessed lately...And you know it's an obsession when your mom gives you a bottle as part of your Easter gift. ha!

I am loving our new favorite TV show, Happy Endings. Dude. It's HI-LARIOUS and you have to watch it!! It's on tonight!

I didn't mention this in my last post but I haven't forgotten about it at all so I wanted to say now, THANK YOU X 100 for all your sweet comments on my fattie post the other day. {lol}. You have no idea how much it means to me to have your support and I am loving all of YOU! I'm here for y'all too and we can totally kick the fattiness together, whether it's 10 lbs or 100 lbs!
