a little thank you.

Apr 10, 2013

I mentioned before that there's some crappy stuff going on in my life right now and while I really just want to talk about it and get it off my chest, it's still very hard to talk about. I've had that post sitting as a draft for 2 weeks now and can't bring myself to finish it. Maybe because I'm nervous about posting something so depressing or maybe because I'm not ready to call out the person I'm having an issue with. (No, it's not Ronnie. It's never Ronnie. He's amazing and a freaking saint for putting up with me ;)

Crazy thing is, I'm not not hitting publish on the post because I'm worried about you reacting negatively or being judgmental. Not at all because I have no doubt that once I hit publish (and even if I never do), I know y'all would be supportive no matter what and just knowing that means so much. So THANK YOU.

Thank you for always leaving sweet comments on yet another post about my kid, thanks for all the compliments that I feel I don't deserve, just thank you for being there. I'm not always prompt at replying to e-mails (agh I will get better at that!) and I am so forgetful about birthdays and other important days but know that I care so much about all of you! I never knew I'd find such amazing people through blogging but I have and I am so grateful for that.

You are the only crazy people I know who fully support my obsessions with nail polish, shopping, coffee, TV, giveaways, Instagram, Twitter...Where else in the world would I find that? Ronnie can only handle so much and of course my IRL friends just . don't . get . it. Which is why many of them don't even know about my blog! So again, thank you for being a friend :)

I've noticed some new faces around here too so I just wanna say hi and welcome to y'all! You'll find all you need to know on the About Me + Us page and you can always find me on Twitter and Instagram. Seriously, I'm always there. I'm probably tweeting as you read this post.

I'm working on adding some of my long-time blogger friends to my sidebar and will be adding more soon but please be sure to visit these ladies! And thank you, Kelly for sharing your coding with me so I could copy you and make those nifty little buttons.

Oh and enter my giveaway, people! It ends tonight at midnight :)

Aw, isn't blogging the best? I had been on a break for about 6 months and now remembering how much I love it - the support, the friendship, the kindness. :)

I'm sorry there is some tough stuff going on right now. I know it can be hard to put yourself out there (this is something I struggle with daily... I mean, seriously, my blog is mostly fluff). Love the new look, too, girl!

I write a lot of posts that I never actually publish. Sometimes it feels good to just type it out. But if you ever do publish it, then I would hope that no one would be mean to you about it in any way. :)

Blogging is amazing and so is the community! I blogged about my miscarriage before telling my family. Actually I only told my mom, Erin, bestie Jen, and then blogged about it. I made my mom and Erin's mom tell the family.
My IRL friends and family don't k ow about my blog either!
And yes when you decide to hit publish we will all be here for you! :)

This was so sweet! And ditto to you! To all of this! My IRL friends don't get it either (and most don't know about my blog, or do, and give me a weird reaction). I want to swap them out and get all my blog friends to live near me.

I have a draft that's been sitting around for almost two MONTHS. I haven't even posted it on my family blog. I don't want to be one of those sunshiny bloggers and pretend like my life is perfect and I'm always happy, but I guess I just don't want to talk about it yet. So I totally feel ya!

Awwh ::hugs:: for whatever you're going through. Your new blog-friend is here when you're ready to hit post <3

Plus, nice job with the buttons! They look so neat and I like that. Does your friend have a tutorial?

Aw, I'm sorry to hear you've been having a tough time. I hope whatever it is that's going on has worked itself out by now, or that you've been able to find peace about it. You know your blog friends are here for you! :)
