Today, our girl is 11 months old!
Exactly one year ago today, I was being showered with all things pink and basically having zero clue just how much my life and OUR lives would change forever. Definitely a naive newbie mama :)
Today? (Well, these were taken yesterday)
We have a wild child on our hands! (with bumps and scrapes to prove it ;)
She's crawling up a storm, loves cords and scaring the hell out of her mama (ha!), she's babbling 24/7 (and is close to saying "baby"!), she has 4 teeth on top, 4 on bottom and goes to bed by 10 most nights (that's early for her, believe me). She still wakes up a couple times a night but also sleeps in late if our schedule allows. She stands on her own for a couple seconds at a time and shocked us the other night when she squatted down to get something without holding onto anything. She bends over all the time and I swear she's gonna tumble one day. She is obsessed with the dogs' crates (which is where she got her big forehead scrape from), obsessed with standing at the patio doors (where she got that forehead bruise from. ha) and loooves seeing herself in the mirror. She eats so much and so well and is definitely slowing down on the amount of bottles she drinks. She's turning into a big girl every day :(
I can barely scroll through the pictures on my phone or on Facebook without tearing up over just how much and how quickly she's changed and grown up. We're always so proud to see her reach milestones but it all happens so dang fast!! I know it's just life and we're "doing our job" in raising her and teaching her new things but someone please tell that to my crazy Mama heart. ha I just want to cuddle her and keep her out of harm's way forever!
So in just one month we'll celebrate the craziest, happiest, BEST year of our lives! I'm not sure if I should just smile about it or go hide under the covers and cry about it some more ;)
Happy 11 Months, toots.

Eeep, she is so big now! I'm sure you got your planning pants on and are going to throw her a fabulous birthday!
How is this even possible?!
Love the pic of her bending over!
It's amazing how resilient these babies are! I've been afraid to go out in public because of Mackenzie bruises and almost black eyes.....
Can't wait to hear about the party plans!
Ahh, she's getting so big! And that HAIR! She's adorable. I can't believe it's almost been a year! :)
Isn't it crazy how naive you can been about having a baby? I so thought things would be semi-"normal" by now... yeah. right. Life will never be normal again!
She is such a big girl! I can't believe she's already almost 1!!
I LOVE that picture of her bending forward. She's just so cute!
My mom said that my brother and I were just covered in bruises and scrapes. It's hard not to worry, (especially when you catch them doing something death-defying!), but it's fun to watch them explore their world :)
time flies in blog world!
She is so dang cute and I cannot BELIEVE this. :)
HOW are our girls so big?! And V is just precious!!!
How sweet, can't believe she's almost a year old-time flies :-)
That picture of her bending is just precious! Happy 11 Months, pretty girl!
miss v is just too much adorableness and she's so adventurous! can't believe she is already 11 mo. old, I feel like you just announced you were pregs the other day haha
She is too cute! I can't believe it has almost been a year! I just love her hair, she has the hair for all those cute bows all little girls should wear :)
So sweet! I love that headstand!! Yesterday we had my iPod on shuffle while we were setting up for Milo's birthday party and "Never Grow Up" by Taylor Swift came on and I literally bawled. Saddest song ever.
I know just how you feel, my friend. I feel like motherhood is a constant conflict between wanting to freeze time and being so excited for what is to come. It's tough to handle. You guys are rocking it as V's parents though and she is such a doll - what a great 11 months! And soon, the big celebration! :)
