Normally I hate Mondays but this one was almost welcome! This weekend was a tough one.
I was hopefu for a better day Sunday but that didn't quite happen. We went to my sister's going away party which wasn't a huge party but just having the few aunts, uncles and my sister's best friends there made for a terrified Violet. She freaking cried her eyes out the moment someone tried to hold her or even just looked in her direction! Agh! Only my sister (she looooves her) and one of her best friends were able to hold her but everyone else? Nope.
So yeah, it was a tough weekend. I'm glad it's over and I just hope Violet isn't giving Ronnie too hard a time this week at home. As for her freaking out around small crowds, I'm not sure what to do. She's fine in large crowds and will even smile if a stranger comes up to see her. But small crowds where everyone's focused on her, she's not having it. Any advice, moms?
Anywho, on to the pics from the past week. Happier times. ha!

aw Violet!! I hope she's having a better day today.
She certainly is adorable in those photos!!
My baby has been ridiculously angelic and then all of the sudden today- BAM. Eating like a crazed person and fussy. Doctor says growth spurt, I say gremlin. :)
Hope she is happier this week :-) Love her cute hair aww!!!
Ah poor V! She is adorable! Her expressions are adorable.
Awww, I'm sorry to hear Miss V had a rough weekend! Hopefully it's just a brief phase and will pass quickly!
Aww, poor V! At least she got some quality Aunt Jeena time. :-) I hope she's happier this week.
I love that picture of you in your new shirt. So pretty!! Violet looks so big in her high chair. As far as her fear goes, I think some kids just have it. Milo was that way too but grew out of it at about 10 months. Sort of about the time he could just wander away from people. Hahah. He’s not totally over it either. He’s so outgoing, but it takes him a while to warm up to people. He'll hang all over me for 10 minutes, even if it's just me and my sister. He also waves and talks to people at the store but when they give him attention back he cries! I’m like, “You did it, dude!” I think she’ll grow out of it. Just try not to pawn her off on people thinking she’ll warm up when she really isn’t comfortable. Then you might get some separation anxiety issues. We also used to take breaks with Milo during parties and weddings or when my crazy relatives were all up in his face. We’d just go outside and regroup and he’d be a little easier.
Again, a novel. Haha!
