Because I'm an obsessed mom who posts pictures of my child nearly daily on Instagram, I get a lot of comments about the hair. It's so hilarious to me how crazy it's getting but at the same time, it's not a surprise to me since I have curly hair and my brother and sister had major curls when they were babies. So for a fun recap, let's check out the hair from the past week. Insane, I tell you.

Ok so enough baby talk but still kind of sticking to the hair theme because really, these guys have amazing hair. Who here watches Million Dollar Listing New York?? I'm so upset that the season's over but it was such a good finale! Though I'm not buying Fredrik's "sensitive" side, I still love him. I really would've preferred that they just end the season with his wedding though. I may or may not have cried during that episode.
I'm still Team Ryan (he's such a little hottie) and I'm intrigued by this new, little evil side that he's teasing us with for next season. And his purple Vespa!! Love. I'm still unsure how I feel about Luis. I love his enthusiasm but the machismo thing is just too much. The "Boom!" and "I love it!" has gotta go, I've heard enough. I think overall I've just been bored with summer TV. I need at least a few shows per week to keep me happy and with that show ending, all I have now is Dexter! I'm just excited that Million Dollar Listing LA is coming soon and Breaking Bad, too!! AAGH! What are you watching?? Give me ideas!
I had another post scheduled for this morning but for some reason, one of the pictures won't upload. No matter what I do! And it's an important picture! Ugh. So having said that, COME BACK TOMORROW. I will be posting about one of my FAVORITE ladies on earth AND there might be a giveaway involved too ;)

She is no longer a baby but a full on toddler now. A talking, walking, dancing, climbing (as of this weekend. yay), mannerful (she finally understands "please" and when to use it!), tantrum throwing, food throwing/smooshing in between her fingers, mess making TODDLER. And as if a light bulb went off in her little head last week, she has realized that yes, sleep is awesome. She has been sleeping through the night for exactly a week now and we couldn't be more grateful. It's amazing what different and better people we are on decent sleep! Who knew :)
It's easy to get wrapped up in the daily b.s. and let ourselves be overwhelmed by the stress that is Ronnie being a full time student (yup, summer school too) and me working full time to take care of the three of us, yadda yadda yadda...but when I sit back and look at the craziness, I realize it is OUR craziness and that makes it pretty special. This is a time in our lives we will never get back and even though it can be nuts, I know we'll look back on this time with fond memories. I just love our life so much and that SHE is a part of it.
And I have to share this quick video. This child loves the music.
I hope her dad and I continue to rub off on her, that way :)
We road tripped yesterday so I was in the back with her and caught her busting some moves.

And on a side note: Thank you to all of you who checked up on us down here in flood-ville. We were safe throughout it all! Our back yard was a pool for about a day but luckily, the water never crept inside. There are a lot of low water crossings near our house and those were flooded and shut down all weekend, even the nearby highway was flooded over in one area but it was all temporary. We're back to being sunny and happy in SA - especially for us Spurs fans ;)
Because of all the sickies in our house (me + Violet), so much for the "fun" Labor Day weekend. Not a whole lot went on so bare with my post being Violet focused. And if you're on Pinterest, sorry for overloading your feed. When I have a sick baby asleep on me, it's about all I can do on my phone to stay awake.
Saturday -
lounge day / The night was MADE (you should've seen Ronnie) when Texas State beat UH / Violet looked pretty adorable cheering on the Bobcats too.
Sunday
the day she woke up sick / My parents dropped by and hung out for a while / Violet slept a ton that day which I hated for her but the good side was that I actually got some me time. (selfish!!) / Watched Love Actually and got in a Christmas-ey mood :)
Monday
Another day in / Cabin fever struck by the afternoon so we went out to pick up lunch / Went for another drive at 2 am when V woke up screaming in horrible pain / Car drives soothe her thank goodness / Appointment is set with the pediatrician tomorrow morning. Gotta love a pedi's office that can't get you in same day. GRR.
And this is so funny...Last night we put V in her rock n play so she could wind down for the night and Ronnie turned on the humidifier for her. She was kicking and waving like a fool but I had no idea why. When I turned on my phone's camera flash, the humidifier had her in a huge cloud, hence the reason for her being so hyper. Like it MADE . HER . DAY! (this was before her 2 am freak out obviously)

and ignore my man voice - i have a stuffed nose!! :(
