Another Noggin Dump

Holla for it finally being Thursday!
{And holla for a good hair day! {don't you just love 'em?!}

I have a lot on my mind today and figured I'd take it all out on you guys.
You don't mind, do ya? ;)

+Thank you to Kit for hosting such an an awesome giveaway week last week! I won Friday's giveaway for a five flower cluster pin from No Plain T's. It's like the picture below but I get to choose which colors I want! I'm SO excited!! Happy 1 Year Blogiversary to you, Kit!

+I am seriously dying to try a Shellac manicure. I keep reading about everyone loving theirs but to get one, that would require me to stop biting my nails. I was doing so well but work has me all stressed out and I bite them without even realizing it. G-ross.

+On that note, I found out some more not-so-great news at work. It's nothing that's affecting the existence of my job, just the existence of my sanity is all.

+I'm all kinds of sad this week without my Parks and Rec, Modern Family, Happy Endings and Big Bang Theory. I might wither away and die this summer :(

{hilarious clip from Happy Endings season finale}

+Making me happy though is all of you new wonderful followers/friends! I am amazed to have 71 of you following my nonsense and it means SO much to me! Thank you :)

+I love my siblings like you wouldn't know. And I love that my brother e-mailed me last night with a link to this Christmas station on Pandora. He obviously grew up with the same Christmas-obsessed mother that I did.

+Um, has anyone heard the phrase "Cowabunga" used in real life? I didn't think so. But if you hang out with my fiance, you might hear him yell it out as he shoots out of a parking lot onto a traffickey street. That fool makes me laugh like you wouldn't believe but now that stupid word is stuck in my head today.

+Who knew drinking lots of water and eating healthy actually = clear skin? Genius, I tell you! Big shout out to Mio for making all of that water drinking bearable possible!

+Did you know I'm obsessed with daily deal sites? I won't even tell you how many I'm signed up for. But I'm always open for more so send me your recommendations or invitations! The only ones I won't do are the sites that have so-called "steals" such as an ottoman that's "50% off the original price of $600". Homie don't play that.

+Speaking of those sites, are you signed up for Zulily? It's "Daily Deals for Moms, Babies and Kids" and DUH I don't have kids but I DO have a need for purses, jewelry, shoes and home decor - all of which they sell {among the cute baby/kids stuff too}. Get yourself signed up here.

+And last but not least, CONGRATULATIONS to my girl, Meg O. on her beyond exciting news!!! ♥

So what's going on with y'all on this fabulous day?

I really feel like I need to start using Cowabunga now. I saw someone use Yahtzee the other day and am trying to incorporate that into my vocab for when things are awesome. :)

First, you know I *LOVE* these posts. Stay posi about your job! I know it's hard. In the past, I've had to "absorb" other people's jobs/duties and the bosses completely told me point blank that I wasn't going to get a better title or more money for doing it. :P

LOVE LOVE LOVE that pin! So freakin' cute! I want one! I want to try that Shellac (or Gelish) mani so bad. Does it matter that I don't (hardly) do anywhere and that I handwash baby dishes every day?

I am also totally sad about all these reruns. I cannot wait for the new start of TV season!

My good friends got a shellac french manicure and it lasted for THREE WEEKS. Can you imagine? I have been meaning to try it too, it obviously is worth the money it it lasts that long.

congrats on winning the giveaway for the cluster pin :D hope works get a bit better for you!

i had an issue drinking water before, but when i decided to change my eating habits i was required to drink water and cut back on soda, alcohol, and caffeine.. that was so bad!! however, now i'm loving it and i would rather have water more than anything.
